Inclusion in the IFTM goes through teaching, research, extension, innovation and internationalization, since diversity crosses any educational processes, conceptions and practices. The promotion of equality and respect for differences underlies the inclusion activities proposed for ConInterEPT, as well as the promotion of accessibility for the internal and external public.
In the 2018 edition of ConInterEPT, inclusive education in the 10 years of the federal institutes will be the highlight, through the lecture given by the special advisor for productive social inclusion and diversity in the EPT, SETEC / MEC, prof. Franclin Nascimento.
Other artistic and cultural activities will also be carried out for IFTM students and professionals, as well as for the external public interested in the subject.
The IFTM 2018 Research, Post Graduate and Innovation Show is an action proposed by the Pro-Rectory of Research, Graduate and Innovation of IFTM, with the objective of disseminating the results of scientific and technological researches carried out by teachers, administrative technicians and students of the IFTM and other Higher Educations Institutions, as well as stimulating the exchange of experience.
Among the activities planned in the Show will be presented and awarded the highlights from the VII Seminar on Scientific Initiation (SIN) and the II Seminar on Research and Technological Innovation (II SEPIT). There will also be the 3rd Innovation Olympiad and the first edition of the Quali PROPI event designed to the socialization of the qualification works developed by the servers of IFTM.
The IFTM Research, Post Graduate and Innovation Show is aimed at high school and technical students, undergraduate and graduate students, IFTM staff and others interested in learning about and discussing the results of the works developed at IFTM in partnership with Brazilian and Internationals Educations and Research Institutions.
By facilitating the interaction between academic knowledge and society, IFTM Extension actions fulfill their mission of promoting local and regional socioeconomic development. Through intra and transdisciplinary programs and projects, which aim to encourage entrepreneurship, associativism, cultural artistic practices, developed in the community with the participation of teachers and students, the institution opens the doors to the population and acts beyond its physical boundaries. Without losing the globalized vision of the formative processes, IFTM promotes a constant re-reading of the demands that emerge in the social scene, which are important elements in the re-adaptation of teaching and research.
The purpose of internationalization actions during ConInterEPT is to give participants a debate on internationalization and language policy in the federal network.
The activities programmed by the Coordination of International Relations and Languages constitute a round of conversation, workshops and a lecture involving topics about internationalization and languages.
The ConInterEPT has the purpose of providing moments of reflection, integration, discussion and dissemination about the dimensions of citizen, professional and technological formation projects, contributing to the critical debate around the school.
The activities programmed by the Pro-Rectory of Education consist of lectures, exhibition of works, integrative exhibition, workshops, addressing topics such as: active methodologies, competitive educational differential through creativity, hybrid teaching, construction of education. The activities are focused on the students and staff of the IFTM, Basic Education educators and the public in general.
